Double-acting Swing Sink Clamps provide easy tool change and added clamping options in quick die change systems. In the unclamp position, no parts protrude above the bolster, allowing optimum utilization of bed and slide surfaces. Clamping, changeover and unclamping positions are monitored by inductive proximity switches for added safety. The swing mechanism is protected by a spring-loaded safety device which can be manually operated in emergencies. Swing sink clamps come ready for pipe or flange connection, with pulling forces from 13,980 to 38,160 lbs. All models feature hardened tie rod, piston and swing mechanisms; coolant groove for easy draining of spray and separating agents; and Viton seals for long life.
