Clamping Nut: Hydraulic-Mechanical
Hilma's hydraulic-mechanical clamping nut is designed especially for clamping dies on rolling bolsters, press beds and slides. It is useful on machine tool beds when the available space is limited and maximum clamping force is required, or when a hydraulic unit or hoses to clamps is unavailable or not practical.
The clamping nut provides high clamping forces with minimal torque. The t-bolt extends through the clamping nut, and the part is very adaptable to different clamping heights and tolerances. Suitable for retrofitting, the clamping nut provides easy manual clamping and unclamping.
The part comes in three sizes, with clamping forces ranging from 13,400 to 33,700 lbs. Safety features include a built-in preload indicator.
Hydraulic Roller Bars
These hydraulic roller bars from Hilma are used in pairs or sets to lift the die and provide a roller surface to easily roll the die in and out during the die change process. For use in standard 1-1/16 inch or ASA T-slots, the bar's hydraulically operated supporting rollers allow easy movement in line with the bar.
Rollers can be rotated for front to back or left to right movement. Maximum operating pressure is 1,740 psi. Available in 4 lengths, the roller bars are in stock and ready to ship.
Rollblocks for Stamping Presses Fit Variety of Needs

Rollblocks Offer Protection From Roller Overload Conditions
Roller Hydraulic Rollblocks from Hilma utilize a piston-roller package which provides both independent roller actuation and protection against potential overloading of rollers on stamping presses.
Rollblocks are available with various roller spacing, allowing customized and cost effective solutions for heavy or light load applications. The units are also available for in-line or transverse applications.
New Compact Power Unit
This new electrically driven high-pressure hydraulic power unit from Hilma Div. of Carr Lane Roemheld is ideal for small and midsize die clamping and lifting systems. The modular unit has a compact, light-weight design which is ready for installation, complete with motor, pump, oil reservoir, valve configuration as needed, pressure gauge, pressure switches, and electrical system. Suitable for both single-acting and double-acting cylinders, the unit's zero leak, directional valves maintain clamping pressure in case of power failure, and the highly reliable radial piston pump ensures long service life. Maximum operating pressure is 5800 psi.
Magnetic Clamp Systems Offer Safe and Fast Mold Change
Magnetic mold clamping systems are available from Hilma, well known for hydraulic clamping systems.
The new long pole technology uses double magnets to provide up to 20% more clamping force over square pole technology. The flexible systems offer quick change of different size molds in a single minute exchange time. Systems are available for plastic, M-TECS 130 (max. 266°F) and for rubber, M-TECS 210 (max. 410°F) injection and compression mold applications.
Electrical power is required for only two seconds to unclamp. Permanent magnets mean clamp capacity is not affected by any power loss. An intelligent safety system is utilized, where a mold clamp sensor, temperature probe, and light signals provide additional safety features.
